About a year ago I started working at Sika to lead the Blended Learning Project - a project that has already resulted in the release several learning tools for Sika employees in 91 different countries. The project team had members from all over the world and different divisions of the company.
Learning and teaching has been a recurring theme in my life. I studied to become a primary school teacher in Rotterdam and after a few years of teaching I went back to college. This time I went to the Radboud University in Nijmegen where I studied Pedagogy and Education Sciences.
Before I started at Sika I worked at the oldest Swiss publishing house Orell Füssli in the Learning Media team where I was project leader of their new eBook platform. Before that I worked at the University of Applied Sciences of Northwestern Switzerland at the School of Education. Here I was a lecturer and guided other professors in the use of new media in education.
